I feel that my heart is working too much. is 100bpm's safe or should i go to the hospital?
Answers:    It's safe. You might want to think about getting more exercise. Being weak is the most common cause for a high resting pulse after caffeine and nicotine.
Anything above 80 should other be checked out by an EKG to make sure your heart is working properly.

This is too high.

I'm going thru the same entity at 123 bpm and my doctor phoned to prevent me from all activity until I see the specialist next week.
You could also be have a panic attack. Why are you taking your pulse while resting?

If you're very worried about it, step to the doctor or a cardiologist.
