19 years old, sudden sharp pain in gone arm? I'm 19 years old, and last night I experienced somewhat severe aching...

I'm 19 years old, and last night I experienced somewhat severe stomach-ache in my left arm. It seemed approaching it started just above my elbow, then worked it's way up to my shoulder. It did not hurt when I put pressure on my arm though. The attitude was difficult to describe. When I would move it, it started to hurt just slightly, and my arm felt severely heavy. My mom told me to take 2 Motrin and see if it helps. After around 10-15 minutes, the pain started to fade away. This morning, it feels fine. I am still concerned on why this have occurred though. My mother told me possible explanations like, muscle spasm, or poor circulation in the arm. I be not doing any physical activity on my arm at all that day, nor did I lay on it wrong. If I have to rate the pain on a scale from 1-10, I would say it be about 6 or a 7.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
Answers:    im not so sure? maybe muscle craps? or lately plain growing? have you fallen in a moment or two while? maybe it just started to react. hope this backing..
Could be a pulled muscle...try applying heat or an analgesic cream to the artificial area for temporary relief. if the twinge continues or worsens, see a doctor for a proper diagnosis. good luck
You will experience an increasing number of transient pains as you grow older. If you worry give or take a few every one you will become a miserable hypochondriac. Worry about only those that interfere with your each day activities or persist or worsen.
