I know that it make it worse, but I don't know why.

Answers:    Asthma cause restricted airways, which makes smooth breathing difficult enough, but then higher than that, you also are in an area of humidity. Humidity thickens nouns and is very dense. The breathing difficulty is what worsens asthma.
Increased humidity simply means there is more water within the air. Water vapor carries allergens much more easily than dry nouns. So asthmatics get exposed to more of whatever their particular allergen is. Whether that be pollen, smells, chemical pollutants etc.
Simply increasing the humidity within your house will not make an asthmatic worse. What do you think the inhalers that asthmatics use mainly consist of, wet. Water is not the enemy here. It's what the water can carry.
